Adding Pictures to Ookaboo

If you find a Creative Commons image you like on Flickr you can add that picture to Ookaboo by attaching that picture to a topic. (why Flickr?)

Here's how:

(1) Browsing Flickr, I find this image of Matt Bell's race car and decide to connect this with Matt Bell:

(2) I look up Matt Bell in Ookaboo, typing his name into the search box at the top until his full name appears, then clicking on the name

when I do that, I see Ookaboo's topic page about Matt Bell

(3) Next, I click on "add a picture" up at the top of the page, and I'm asked to log in with my facebook account (Why Facebook?)

(4) Now I'm sent to the "Add A Picture" page on Ookaboo. This has one field, for the URL of the picture I want to add. Cut the URL from the page on Flickr,

(note that this screenshot was taken with Google's Chrome browser, which hides the "http://" at the beginning of the URL. If I was using another browser, I'd see the http://; in any browser, Chrome or not, I'd get the whole URL, including the http:// if I cut everything that's in the URL box.)

(5) Now I paste the URL into the "Add A Picture" Page on Ookaboo

and press "submit".

(6) Now Ookaboo asks me to write a title for your image; often, images on other sites don't have good titles, so we insist that you always write an original title that describes the image in some detail.

(7) Press "Add Image" and wait a few seconds and you'll get confirmation that the upload was successful:
